Confirm the delivery scope.
Delivery arrangements are project specific. Your written quote and order documents should identify the destination, delivery service, freight charges, scheduling requirements, and any services included in the price.
Confirm whether curbside delivery, inside placement, liftgate service, uncrating, installation, or removal is included. Do not assume a service is included unless it is confirmed in writing.
Plan around confirmed availability.
Lead times and delivery estimates depend on product availability, manufacturer schedules, freight arrangements, and site readiness. Ask your Alliant contact to confirm the current schedule before committing site labor or installation dates.
A requested date is not a guaranteed delivery commitment unless the applicable written agreement expressly provides one.
Share the site requirements early.
Provide the delivery address, site contact, receiving hours, access restrictions, loading facilities, and any appointment or building requirements. Identify stairs, elevators, restricted access, or special handling needs before delivery is arranged.
Discuss changes before dispatch.
Contact Alliant as soon as the delivery location, schedule, or receiving conditions change. Any revised freight, handling, storage, or redelivery arrangements should be reviewed against your written quote and order terms.
Confirm any applicable charges in writing before revised arrangements are made.
Be ready for the handoff.
Review the receiving and inspection steps before your equipment arrives. Keep the delivery documents and note any visible damage or missing items when receiving the shipment.
